Vintage and Distressed

Top (Brandy Melville) | Cardigan (J. Crew) | Shorts (Thrifted) | Belt (Abercrombie and Fitch) | Shoes (Rainbows) | Watch (MK) | Bracelet (Pandora) | Necklace (Dogeared)

Clearly still going through SoCal/spring break withdrawal, but I shouldn't complain since the weather here is improving (slightly). Though for some this outfit may not be most suitable for the current climate, I figured it would still be good inspiration for some spring wardrobe building, because who doesn't love an excuse to shop?? I fell in love with this tank when I saw it on one of my favorite YouTube gurus, Ingrid from missglamorazzi, so I picked it up at the Brandy Melville store on 3rd Street Promenade when I was in Santa Monica. On the Brandy Melville site, they have the tank in multiple styles but all with the same print (love love love the vintage cameras!!). Graphic muscle tanks are coming back this spring (yay!), and they are so versatile because you can wear them alone or layered. I've been on a hunt for ones that just scream my name because they really leave a lot of room for personal styling. For this particular outfit, I chose a slouchy, oversized gray cardigan and high waisted destroyed denim shorts for a very laid back look - trying to blog more of these everyday looks for you all cause I know girl ain't got no time to dress up everyday just to attend a class or two in college...let's be real. Thanks for reading lovelies!

Rosewood

Sweater (Madewell - last seen here) | Belt (Abercrombie and Fitch) | Dress (American Eagle - super similar here) | Shoes (DV by Dolce Vita - last seen here and here) | Watch (MK) | Bracelet (Pandora)

I'm finally back in reality, though I wish I could stay in spring break mode forever, and I still have a couple more outfits to show you from my trip to California! Today's outfit is one of my favorite ways to dress down a dress by layering, and its also a way to create multiple outfits with one dress. I bought this dress at the end of the summer last year so I never got a chance to wear it, but what a surprise - more polka dots! I linked a very similar one above from Forever 21 - mine also has a sweetheart neckline with a bustier style top. The only difference is that mine ties into a bow in the back so it has a little more detail than the one I linked. For those days where you don't want to show as much skin or you simply want to throw on a sweater because it's still a little bit chilly early in the day and later at night, a great option is a knit sweater. I chose a very lightweight one with a wider knit so its still very spring appropriate. Don't forget to add a belt so you don't lose your figure! Overall, this look is very casual and comfy with the "I tried, but I didn't really try" vibe, and its light and flowy - perfect for frolicking in  fields of newly blossoming flowers :) Thanks for reading!

Army Green and Brights

Top (Hollister - super old!) | Tank (Unknown) | Belt (Abercrombie and Fitch) | Bottoms (Madewell) | Shoes (Tory Burch) | Watch (MK) | Bracelet (Pandora) | Sunnies (Andrea Jovine) | Necklace (Dogeared) | Bag (Longchamp)

Another happy day in sunny SoCal and I'm all smiles :) Currently wishing I could bottle up this sunshine and beautiful weather and take it back home with me! As promised, here's another outfit that I paired with my trusty woven Tory's. Spring time in Southern California is a bit tricky since the weather's gorgeous and warm during the day but starts getting a bit chilly around 6-7pm so you always have to dress for the happy medium. I really love the combination of these bright coralish-pink cords from Madewell with the muted olive/army green top, which I chose to wear as almost a light jacket type of look. You can definitely do a bolder necklace with this outfit, which I really wanted to do, but unfortunately my skin never reacts well when it's in direct contact with the cheaper statement necklaces I own. I hope this look gives you all some style inspirations as you fill your closet with new spring pieces! Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you all in my next post :)

Minted

Top (Free People) | Bottoms (Free People) | Shoes (Tory Burch - similar here) | Hat (Forever 21) | Watch (MK) | Necklace (Dogeared) | Bracelet (Pandora)

Yesterday was the official first day of spring, and since I'm currently on spring break I figured an OOTD from sunny California would be appropriate :) I bought this top while it was still quite cold so I was super excited to finally be able to wear it! I kept the entire look very light and fresh, and topped it off with a floral-trimmed fedora for a little more personality. I tied in the same straw/hemp material with my Tory Burch flats. For all you girls with packing issues (I am probably the world's worst and slowest packer...), the most difficult thing is finding a pair of shoes that will go with everything in your suitcase. I'm always so tempted to bring 3-4 pairs of shoes, but it's never plausible with only a carry-on. I'll be blogging the rest of my outfits from this trip in the next few days, so make sure to check back for more tips on mixing and matching different wardrobe pieces because I successfully managed to match all my outfits with these shoes (though I am still guilty of packing an extra pair of wedges and my Rainbow's...oops!) Thanks for reading, and I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather in your respective vacationing spots :) For those of you slaving away back at school or work, I'll be here to share my wealth of sunshine and palm trees!

Blush (And Happy 100th Post!! ♥)

Blazer (Ralph Lauren - Black Label) | Top (Forever 21 - past season) | Bottoms (A&F) | Shoes (Vintage Talbots - seen here and here) | Watch (MK) | Bracelets (Stella&Dot, Pandora)

Happy 100th Post!!!! I just wanted to start off by saying a big THANK YOU to all of you who've been following my blog for nearly a year now! It's been a blessing to see how my blog has grown with the love and support of all of you, and I can't wait to see what the future holds :)

On to the outfit! Today's outfit is very feminine with a light springtime feel. I am slightly obsessed with polka dots if you haven't already noticed (polka dots here, here, and here!), and I recently purchased a polka-dotted chambray top which will be featured very very soon :) This top is adorable to me because of its Peter Pan collar, sweet blush color, and ivory polka dots. I paired it with one of the most coveted pieces from my closet - my ivory Black Label blazer from Ralph Lauren! What girl doesn't love a perfectly tailored blazer?? With ankle-skimming khakis and beautiful cognac leather loafers, this outfit transitions from everyday wear to the office. As always, thank you for reading and stopping by!! Perhaps the next time you see me it'll be someplace warm and sunny ;) Don't forget, my Arbonne giveaway closes tomorrow, so click here to enter! Lots of love to all my beautiful readers ♥

Monotone

Jacket (Zara) | Top (Forever 21) | Bottoms (Joe's Jeans) | Shoes (Enzo Angiolini)

I don't know about the rest of you, but March where I live means extremely bipolar and temperamental weather. Lately, I've really been loving the all black look because in theory it seems easy since it's pretty simple to throw on all black, but in actuality I think it's quite a challenge. The key to styling a completely monotone pallet is texture and attention to detail. For this outfit, I was really inspired by the jacket, which I've had for many many years. I bought it probably in my early years of high school so back then it was pretty impractical for me to wear to school. However, now I really appreciate the duo-toned fabrics and the puffy sleeves which feels quite unique to me. I decided to pair it with a sheer black blouse with gold stud detailing and fine corduroy pants. There is a lot of different textures happening, but since they are all quite subtle none feel over-powering or odd. Let me know in the comments below what pieces you would mix for an monotone look! Thanks for reading, and don't forget to check out my Arbonne review!

"Happy Girls Are The Prettiest"

Blazer (Target - past season) | Top (Love Culture) | Jeans (Abercrombie & Fitch - super old) | Shoes (DV by Dolce Vita) | Watch (MK) | Necklace (Dogeared) | Bracelets (Pandora, Stella&Dot)
Happy Monday!! I always try to cure my Monday blues with an outfit that I love, and for once I am sitting here blogging about an outfit that I am currently still wearing because this is my actual OOTD! I've been dying for an Audrey Hepburn tee, so when I saw this one on Love Culture's website I immediately ran into the store to look for it. It definitely didn't help that it has one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn quotes on it. A girl just can't resist! I also love this one, and was so sad when I found out Love Culture used to also carry it for five dollars less in-store (so no shipping!) I paired it with a blazer and a pair of destroyed denim jeans that I cuffed to give it a very dressed-up but casual daytime feel. Currently where I live, we're having two days of glorious spring-like weather (clearly our sun dancing since my last post has worked!!), so I've been happily dipping into my spring wardrobe :) I also love these smoking loafers I received as a birthday gift and am really digging the metal cap-toe trend!! What are your favorite spring trends?? Let me know in the comments below, and as always thank you for stopping by!!

XOXO,
E ♥

P.S Don't forget to check out this post for some skincare goodies!
