Hey everyone! Today's post is a little different than the usual. I wanted to share with you a few different favorites of a winter staple here on the east coast: coats! Lately I've been craving a couple different coat trends. If you notice from the selection above, I really love the draped look with oversized lapels (#2, 6, and 7). Moreoever, if the collar is lined with fur or shearling - even better! I think this is such a cozy but luxe look for winter and definitely perfect for the cold weather here where I live.
Another huge trend lately is boucle. Boucle outerwear is those shaggy, knit looking pieces you've been seeing around which doubles as a sweater and a jacket. I love their oversized, boxy shape that's very European inspired. Boucle's close friend is the fur jacket! Whether you like to rock faux fur or fo-real fur, these fluffy bundles of joy elevate any outfit and can be versatilely dressed up or down for both day and night.
