Where summer meets fall.
I wore this outfit a little while ago on my last official summer Friday for a late brunch at Ladurée with my good friend Samantha of Starring Samantha. I love transitional outfits, and this one is just that. It's hard to let go of summer, but at the same time it's inevitable and let's be real, I love fall. It's my favorite season, and I'm totally basic about it. Pumpkin spice lattes, stomping on crunchy leaves in my Uggs {yes I have Uggs and I wear them when it's freezing with absolutely no shame}, taking photos of the foliage and filtering the crap out of them like yes this totally looked picture perfect in real life obviously, and snuggling up in a chunky infinite scarf that I will not remove until March. However, before we can get to that, there's a transitional period where summer clothes and fall clothes are both not exactly right, so you have to find a happy medium. This is my happy medium.
