Pink Blush {Giveaway}

While working to make your dream a reality, feel the joy of your accomplishment and savor it with celebration and thanksgiving.

While Thanksgiving may be officially over, Thanksgiving lives on {in my heart} through the rest of the weekend. As promised, I have some more Friendsgiving giveaways for you all today! I've partnered with Pink Blush for today's post and another coming up on Wednesday to share with you some of my favorite picks from their collection! I've been searching for a dusty pink coat for the longest time, and girl let me tell you -- it's hard to come by one in the right shade of pink at the right price. I love the shade of this one, with the perfect cocoon body and boucle fabric, and I really like how the soft pink juxtaposes with the cool greys and silvers.

I wanted to take this varsity stripe sweater and a simple pair of dark wash jeans to an elevated level. The easiest way? Layers and layers of statement jewelry. I threw my hair up into a bun to really accentuate that -- something I don't do often. I'm not big on tying up my hair, and I really think it's a security thing because hair framing my face makes me feel safe. Is that weird? Probably :)

Make sure you check out the entire Pink Blush collection, and shop their Black Friday sale with code BLACKFRIDAY40 to receive 40% off your purchase + free shipping to the U.S. Offer ends 11/30. I'm also giving away a $25 E-Gift Certificate to the shop, so scroll down to enter! The giveaway will run until 11/29, 11:59 PM EST, and a winner will be announced on 11/30 -- just in time for Cyber Monday shopping!! Happy shopping and good luck!

Top of the Rock

See the world as if for the first time; see it through the eyes of a child, and you will suddenly find that you are free.

I'm so excited to be partnering with ShopLately again for today's post! I'm a sucker for fur {both faux and fur-real}, whether it be a vest, a jacket, a lining, a collar, earmuffs, or a stole. I think it adds a very luxurious feel to any outfit, and it's also very conventional for cold weather climates! I love browsing ShopLately because there's such a wide variety of products from so many different shops, covering apparel, shoes, jewelry, handbags, and even beauty! They bring new product every Monday and a new sale event every Wednesday, so for you avid shoppers, you're bound to find something different or a great deal each week :) ShopLately will be having a Black Friday Sale this weekend, so make sure to stop by! And if you're looking to get free shipping, you can sign up for their Insider Program for free shipping on all items, all year long! To shop some of my favorite picks, check out my ShopLately profile here.

Some other recent favorites of mine are these accessories from shop From Dylan. I'm a firm believer that accessories can make or break an outfit, and if you know me you know I love hats and rings. On the regular I usually wear the same five rings that are my every day basics, but I'm always on the lookout for new additions to my ring collections that are perfect for stacking and these are it! Shop the rest of the collection here! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!

xx

Thankful + A Giveaway!

Each day I am thankful for nights that turned into mornings,
Friends that turned into family,
Dreams that turned into reality,
And likes that turned into love.

It's Thanksgiving week and there is so much to be thankful for! Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday because it really emphasizes family and friendship. It's a time to be thankful for what you have and what's to come, a time to give thanks for those people you couldn't imagine life without, and also a time to think about those who are in need. Here on Refined Couture, it's also a time for me to say thank you to all of my readers, both new and old, for joining me on this journey and for all the love and support I never expected to receive when I first embarked into the blogosphere!

I'm kicking off this week with a giveaway with Fevrie, and I'm excited to announce that this is only the first of many to celebrate Friendsgiving :) Fevrie was kind enough to send me this cozy, contrast-texture, chunky cardigan and it is literally just right for everything -- from lounging around at home to a day out and about {I've done both of the above}. The first day I wore this sweater I didn't want to take it off...so warm and perfectly oversized. It's quite different from any other sweater I've seen on the market, and it was the cable knit mixed with the boucle sleeves and accent pockets that really drew me to this sweater. Since it is already made oversized, I would definitely not size up if you are looking to purchase this sweater!

I will be hosting a giveaway for a $50 gift card to Fevrie on Instagram, going live today so check back around noon EST. Or, you can use code REFINEDCOUTURE25 for 25% off your entire purchase from now through December 31, 2014. Good luck, and happy shopping!!

Golden

The golden age is before us, not behind us; leave a little sparkle wherever you go.

I am enchanted by sequins and sparkles. It reminds me of fairytales, it reminds me of childhood, it reminds me of magic. I wish I could pair this with a full tulle skirt, sparkly heels, and twirl around in Disney World with Minnie Mouse ears and a magic wand while it rained glitter. Too much? Maybe. But she who leaves a trail of glitter will {never} be forgotten...

The Weekender Edition

The only way to do great work is to {love} what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.

I couldn't agree more. The weekends are prime, cherished time when you start working, and for me my free time on weekends are scarce. I spend a large chunk of my Saturdays at church, so unlike most other people who have the leisure of full Saturdays and Sundays, my weekends are limited to Sundays to run errands, catch up with friends, and of course continue to keep up with this blog. But I figure out how to make it work because it's truly something I love to do. When your work is driven by love it's difficult to fail or produce something you aren't proud of. It's easy to put things off 'til the next "tomorrow", but don't let life get in your way of {living} or continuing to kindle your fire.
