Entrenched

"I could never stop thinking that maybe she loved mysteries so much that she became one."

Mystery.

As a little girl, I loved mystery novels. In middle school I went from reading Nancy Drew all the way through the works of Mary Higgins Clark. I remember being wide-eyed and curious, with a deep love for reading, asking the librarian for book suggestions in similar genres or by similar authors. I've always loved mysteries, and largely, I think it's because I love questions. I'm naturally a curious person, always asking why and always needing to know the reason. Sometimes, I ask questions solely for the purpose of asking a question and never fully expecting an answer because I know not all questions come with answers. But that's the beauty of it, isn't it? Just like all questions have their mysteries, all people are also mysteries. No matter how well you know someone, a part of them will always be a mystery. And that's the intrigue of life.
