Merry-Golds

Hey there! Happy wonderful Monday :)

Spring has finally, finally sprung here on the East Coast and I couldn't be happier, despite the allergies that are currently attacking me as we speak. Feeling the good feels and positive vibes all around, with beautiful flowers and the best kind of green that trees only get when the leaves just start to bud.

I'm loving these new pieces from Aéropostale's summer collection. This top is one of my favorites - it's slightly cropped but with a high neckline in a pretty white crochet. It also has an open flap back, which isn't typically something I gravitate towards, but it's an easy fix with a white camisole underneath and an outerwear piece of your choice :) It paired perfectly with this navy and white polka dot skirt for an easy spring-to-summer look. I have a black top that's pretty similar, so I'm glad to have found a white version. Definitely going to be an item I reach for often in the coming months!

I've been wearing this necklace duo every single day. I was never previously a huge fan of the monogram necklace look because typically the monograms are huge and I didn't think it would fit well with my physique and style. However, when My Monogram Necklace reached out to me about reviewing a piece, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! They were so helpful and custom made mine to their smallest size, which is 0.8" compared to the typical size which is over 1". Mine is on an 18" chain in sterling silver plated with 18K gold. Typically, you are supposed to monogram your last initial in the middle, however I left my middle initial in the middle for two reasons: I liked how it looks, and it also happens to be the initial of my mother's maiden name. Fun fact: My mom and I actually share all the same initials, so in this way my necklace was made just a little bit more special :)

  1. Really cute outfit for spring!! It's good to see you're still getting outside, despite the allergies.
