We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
Today I'm partnering with Soulscarf in a very special post. During one of my summer internship programs in college, I had the pleasure of getting to know the founder of Soulscarf. As a fellow college student, I was immediately impressed by the startup she had created and loved that what she had started wasn't just another company selling fashionable scarves, but they were scarves with a mission. Each scarf is branded with a small heart logo, and depending on the color of the heart, it represents a different charity. You choose the charity and the scarf, and Soulscarf gives back 20% of the proceeds to one of four charities: ASPCA, Feed the Children, Project H Design, or The Breast Cancer Society. It's fashion with a cause -- something I have a deep appreciation for. I encourage you to take a look at the entire Soulscarf collection. In the spirit of the upcoming holidays and cold weather, it would be a great chance to pick out something warm for yourself and maybe a few others while giving back to some wonderful charities! Win, win.
