Originality. It's your golden ticket in the world of fashion. Yes, a huge part of fashion is drawing inspiration, but turning inspiration into something original, something innovative, something that breathes that perfect breath of fresh air is the key to success and also the key to respect. I've given this a lot of thought, and as a personal style blogger who is attached at the hip to her iPhone {but mostly just to Instagram} I've come to find that sometimes it becomes so easy to lose yourself: to lose your perspective, to forget your roots, to become someone you really aren't; it's easy to conform instead of transform. It's quite easy -- just scroll through your Instagram and see where you started, look at where you've gone, and evaluate where you stand. Are you being who you really are? If not, do a little soul searching. It's never too late to embark on a journey to rediscover yourself. Once you do, I think you'll find that people will love you for who you are; they'll recognize you for your talent and for your perspective -- don't worry. Press on and one day your time will come.
