Nouveau Punk :: Graphic Tees & Statement Necklaces

Hey everyone, and happy Monday!! I was so excited when I found this shirt at my local Zara. It was the last one, tucked away behind a leather jacket as part of the display, and luckily happened upon it as I was feeling the jacket quality. I was a bit disappointed at first since it was a large, but it actually fit perfectly when I tried it on. So for those who like to buy online, I'd keep that in mind if you're interested in this top since I'm usually a small in t-shirts. I wanted to go the dressed up graphic tee route, so I paired it with a jewel-tone skirt I've had for ages. I thought it was a pretty color for fall, and I liked the added feminine detail of the fabric, which actually reminds me of curtain fabric up close...lol. And why am I attracted to curtain fabrics? Fantastic question.

And for those who may be wondering, the necklace was a gift from a family friend who dabbles in jewelry making but really is a fantastic painter. She's also the same family friend who gifted me this necklace. The necklace along with the t-shirt were the base pieces of this outfit's conception. I've been obsessed with tees like this lately, so if any of you have seen any great ones on the market, let me know! Feed my shopaholic hunger. Just kidding, please don't - my wallet is silently weeping. 

Oh,  and for those who follow daily, I'll be posting every Monday and Thursday now since that seems like a more balanced distribution of posts :) Thanks for reading!!

    You wear this graphic tee perfectly! That jewel-toned skirt is gorgeous and I love the cut as well- skirts are my latest obsession :P I love your bag! I think I nearly bought the gray version of it but it didn't look nearly as nice! Looks like you guys are experiencing some fall-like weather finally, we were lucky enough to have sunshine yesterday and today!

    Thanks Debbie!! I think the bag looks a lot nicer styled/in photos than it does just sitting on the shelf...haha. The taupe one is a pretty color though! And yes, finally :) It was really rainy today though, but it was a nice change to the weather and for once, I welcomed it because it finally felt like fall!
