"I see you everywhere, in the stars, in the river;
to me you're everything that exists;
the reality of everything."
{Virginia Woolf, Night and Day}
With Labor Day just around the corner, it's officially time to bid adieu to summer. Though summer doesn't technically end for another couple weeks, I'm pretty sure #fall is already trending on Instagram; you can probably also throw in there #pumpkinspice #psl #starbucks #bae #baesic #okicanstopnow. As much as it saddens me to part with summer, I'm just about done with my summer wardrobe and also this incessant heat that just won't seem to lift from the city. I've begun trying to think of more creative ways to wear my summer pieces as I start recycling various articles of clothing that I've worn throughout the last couple months. I never thought myself as one for the kimono trend, but this kimono cardigan really got me. It's been such an easy layering piece that I've found myself reaching for it on countless occasions and it really is a multi-faceted functioning item. I'd always had the thought to wear it as a top on its own with a simple nude camisole layered underneath and belted to give it that kimono top silhouette. And well, here you go ladies and gents -- from one creative mind to another, always think outside of the box. Who knows? Maybe your favorite top is even cuter on backwards.
