Somewhere inside of me there will always be the person I am tonight."

Finding balance.
The last week has been super hectic for me with busy season hitting at work and juggling events for fashion week. At times it's been so draining that I give serious kudos to people who attend more events than I do while also working a normal nine-to-five job. There were super late nights commuting home to New Jersey after evening shows and events in the city, but honestly I wouldn't trade it for a few more hours of shut eye. Flashback to 2012 when I first started Refined Couture, NYFW was purely a dream. It's so easy to measure your own success through the accomplishments of others, but as the old saying goes, you can't compare your chapter 3 to someone else's chapter 25 {or something along those lines}. In due time, you will find your own successes and reach your highest goals so long as you carry on. I used to think being successful was getting invited to ____'s show at fashion week and having x number of followers on Instagram, but thinking about where I started and where I've come, it truly amazes me and makes me feel ever so thankful to have all of you here with me. I've made friends and found a community I never would have known had it not been for this little corner of the interweb and all of you, so here's to continuing this journey and taking you all along for the adventures to come! Sending much love to all of you!
Besos,
RC
P.S. This is literally the most comfortable jumpsuit of my life I'm pretty sure this is what it feels like to wear a onesie as a baby. If they've come out with silk onesies, this is that but for adults...so get on it cause it's on sale and I'm obsessed! Can't wait to transition this to fall ;)
