As with everything in life, it's what you make of it. We each choose to live or to merely exist. At many points in our life, we will feel shaken by what is thrown our way, and some things impact us greater than others. In all of these times we have the choice to rise up and move forward or feel defeated and broken. Everyone is dealt a different set of hands in life, and it's almost guaranteed that the hand we are dealt is not the hand we had planned for. Everyday is unexpected and we never know what tomorrow holds. In these last couple years, I've really changed my mentality on how to face each day and the life I want to pave for myself. I've made it a point to travel to new places and cross things off my bucket list - something that I never would have envisioned for myself five years ago or ten years ago. In many ways, I am nowhere near where I expected myself to be at this point in my life, but in other ways I have immensely surpassed my own expectations. We are constantly being thrown for a loop in life but despite all the noise, let your waters run pure...like gold, and make 24 karat magic.
