Monotone

Jacket (Zara) | Top (Forever 21) | Bottoms (Joe's Jeans) | Shoes (Enzo Angiolini)

I don't know about the rest of you, but March where I live means extremely bipolar and temperamental weather. Lately, I've really been loving the all black look because in theory it seems easy since it's pretty simple to throw on all black, but in actuality I think it's quite a challenge. The key to styling a completely monotone pallet is texture and attention to detail. For this outfit, I was really inspired by the jacket, which I've had for many many years. I bought it probably in my early years of high school so back then it was pretty impractical for me to wear to school. However, now I really appreciate the duo-toned fabrics and the puffy sleeves which feels quite unique to me. I decided to pair it with a sheer black blouse with gold stud detailing and fine corduroy pants. There is a lot of different textures happening, but since they are all quite subtle none feel over-powering or odd. Let me know in the comments below what pieces you would mix for an monotone look! Thanks for reading, and don't forget to check out my Arbonne review!
