Giveaway courtesy of Arbonne Independent Consultant, Kanani
Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are completely honest! I would not promote a product that I would not use myself.
Hi all!! It's another exciting day on the blog today because I'll be hosting another giveaway for all my lovely readers :) I was recently contacted by Arbonne consultant, Kanani and was asked to try out some of their products and do a giveaway if I was interested. I've never previously used Arbonne products before, but I did some research and saw that it is a very natural line of skincare/beauty/nutritional items and I'm a big fan of products of that sort. I'm pretty conscious of what I put on my skin in terms of things that contain parabens, phthalates, etc. because they can be very harmful chemicals to both our skin and our bodies in the long run. Usually we don't think about skincare products affecting our overall health because we think it's only skin deep. But in actuality, all the things we put on our skin are later absorbed into our blood stream and therefore cause negative side-effects in the long run. And another perk, for those who have sensitive skin - their products are gluten free!
After testing out some of the products, I found my two favorites to be the FC5 Purifying Cleanser & Toner and the Oil Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF 20 that goes with it. To keep it short, overall the cleanser was not drying and it lathered up quite nicely so a little goes a long way. This particular one was for combination skin, so the lotion wasn't too oily and absorbed into the skin fairly well. The scent is probably a hit or miss for most, but I personally liked it because it had a hint of citrus which I tend to favor. The product is supposed to be infused with many different fruits and vegetables, and after a few days I saw results in clearer and healthier looking skin. The way I would describe it is brighter, not in whitening terms, but in terms of being less dull.
