Sweater (Madewell - last seen here) | Belt (Abercrombie and Fitch) | Dress (American Eagle - super similar here) | Shoes (DV by Dolce Vita - last seen here and here) | Watch (MK) | Bracelet (Pandora)

I'm finally back in reality, though I wish I could stay in spring break mode forever, and I still have a couple more outfits to show you from my trip to California! Today's outfit is one of my favorite ways to dress down a dress by layering, and its also a way to create multiple outfits with one dress. I bought this dress at the end of the summer last year so I never got a chance to wear it, but what a surprise - more polka dots! I linked a very similar one above from Forever 21 - mine also has a sweetheart neckline with a bustier style top. The only difference is that mine ties into a bow in the back so it has a little more detail than the one I linked. For those days where you don't want to show as much skin or you simply want to throw on a sweater because it's still a little bit chilly early in the day and later at night, a great option is a knit sweater. I chose a very lightweight one with a wider knit so its still very spring appropriate. Don't forget to add a belt so you don't lose your figure! Overall, this look is very casual and comfy with the "I tried, but I didn't really try" vibe, and its light and flowy - perfect for frolicking in  fields of newly blossoming flowers :) Thanks for reading!
