Chromatically Correct

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed some time kicking back, relaxing, eating good food, and maybe doing a little shopping (cause I know I did...oops!). Today I'm feeling chromatically correct, pun definitely intended (you can't even begin to understand how clever I felt when I thought of this title), because lately the weather's been a big overcast and extremely windy. To counter the dreary colors, I added my latest favorite heart-print tights because I'm totally a sucker for cutesy pieces like this that I could totally picture Jess (Zooey Deschanel) from New Girl wearing.

 I wasn't kidding in my last post when I said I wanted to pick up a few more drapey cardigans. This is my easy, everyday pairing for that dressed up but dressed down look. For cardigans like this, I prefer them a bit over-sized and slouchy, so I super sized up and got this in a large. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sweater (so warm and soft!), and it's quickly becoming a closet staple since it's so easy to throw on over any outfit.
