Hi everyone! Hope you're all enjoying your week :) Today's pairing might be one of my favorites so far from this fall. I love the contrast between a romantic, draped cardigan in a feminine blush tone paired against some tougher pieces like my coated moto-esque denim and black leather ankle boots. I'm really loving these draped cardigans, and I'm looking to invest in a few more for my fall and winter wardrobe. They're great for layering under coats and vests as well! I snagged this one at a boutique sample sale along with a couple other pieces I can't wait to share with you all. I've also been getting so much wear out of these coated skinnies, thanks to Aéropostale - still have so many outfit pairings in mind for them! I always find myself reaching for them over my regular black jeans, so much so that sometimes I have to force myself to choose my regular skinnies over this coated pair...!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
XOXO,
E ♥

I love the warm sunlight on those photos. and of course I love what you're wearing here. this cardi is so gorgeous and as you said, creates a wonderful contrast with those tough pants. oh and what I also love is the bag (again). gosh and your necklace is spectacular! this family friend of yours is really talented!

Oh my, this cardigan is seriously to die for! You're so lucky that you managed to get it at a sample sale, it's simply gorgeous! Not only do I adore the colour, the draped effect is amazing! I actually have a brown one that has a similar drape for the collar but isn't as long (which sucks). Also I've found that that particular shade of brown is surprisingly hard to pair with!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful post! :)

I love how dainty the color of your sweater is, but that you toughen it up with boots! Cute!

ReplyDeleteThanks for all your sweet comments Maiken! <3 xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie :) Yes, it's definitely on my list of favorite finds! I actually don't think I own many brown cardigans, cause I do agree, they are a little more difficult to pair with especially when they are a true brown. There's a lot of these draped cardis out now though, so hopefully you can find a longer one! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Chadlen! Hope you enjoyed your weekend xx
