Hey everyone! Happy December!! As we all know, plaid/tartan/gingham is taking over this season so of course I had to get my hands on a pair of tartan trousers (still on the search for a tartan pencil skirt!). I found this pair at H&M while doing some shopping in the city (NYC), and knew they would become a new addition to my wardrobe because it was exactly what I was looking for. A friend of mine actually owns this same pair from H&M, but she told me her's is fleece-lined, which I'm extremely jealous of! But I also believe the cut of her trouser is a bit different than mine, and I think the ones I own are a bit more slim and tapered which I prefer.
I went with a lot of cool tones for this outfit because I wanted to draw from the jewel detailing on the neckline of this top. However, it was freezing out (28 degrees!!), so I bundled up with a pair of grey wool gloves and my fur earmuffs which are a winter staple. Do not be deceived...my toes were frozen! What're your favorite trends for a festive look?
Thanks for reading!!
XOXO,
E ♥

I love those tartan pants and that croc clutch! I just watched this cute French movie (made in 2013) set in the 1950s last night called Populaire and there was one scene where the main actress (who was very stylish) wore tartan pants while she was training to run haha. Kinda ridiculous but she did look very good, as do you! ;)
