Stripes + Floral

I'm quite indecisive when it comes to picking favorites...favorite food, favorite color, favorite vacation spot, favorite designer, etc. Favorite sounds so limited and final, I just hate to choose. For our "On Wednesdays We Wear..." series, we have a lot of favorites coming up, so I've found myself in quite the pickle trying to decide which pieces to feature as my favorite. This week's topic is our favorite print. Clearly, my indecisiveness won this battle because I ended up choosing two prints (well, one is more of a pattern) in order to share one of my favorite combinations: stripes and floral!

Many of you must be thinking, girl you cray. The world around you is covered in snow and you're wearing a mini skirt. But maybe this is just my desperate plea with Mother Nature for spring to kindly arrive sometime soon, like I don't know, possibly tomorrow? All jokes aside, I really did want to share with you how a typically spring pairing could be more winter appropriate (but you should probably add some tights or something). I've been searching for a striped a-line mini skirt for a couple seasons now, so I was so happy to find this one from Aéropostale's Bethany Mota collection for a reasonable price and also decent quality! It's a heavier material with structured pleats which was just what I was looking for.
