Hey there! Hope you're having a fantastic week!!

If you don't already know what "C'est la vie" means, I'll save you the trouble of Google translating it. It's French for "That's life". I fell in love with this tee at first site for a couple reasons. 1) It's written in floral words. I am a huge sucker for floral. 2) I love anything that's French. French sayings, French bulldogs, French designers, French food, French accents, French macarons, and yes, French fries.
Being a huge advocate of floral print, you're probably wondering why I went with such a subtle floral for a collaboration post dedicated solely to floral prints. Well, I'll tell you why: 1) Sometimes, subtle is better, 2) I assumed everyone else would choose loud floral pieces and of course, I always like to be different, but mostly 3) I just really wanted to wear this shirt, okay?
I've realized as of late that I really love to mix jewel tones. I think the richness of their colors really play off well with each other and they compliment beautifully in pairings. I went a little bolder this time around with not two, but three jewel tones, pulling the navy and turquoise hues from the print and adding my own punch of burgundy.
What are your favorite color stories for outfit pairings? I'd love to know!

Thanks so much for reading!!
