My favorite times of the year are the periods of transition between seasons -- not only can you feel the shift in the air as the temperatures begin to change, but I also love the anticipation of the next season to come. Undoubtedly, my favorite transition is between summer to fall because as I've said countless times before...I love fall. These in between times are the perfect opportunity to play with your wardrobe, mixing and matching your favorite pieces from each season to create fun new outfits that really are only wearable for a short period of time each year. If you've followed along for awhile, you'll notice I almost never wear body-hugging pieces. It's just personal preference and it's really never been my thing. However, I fell in love with this super easy floral cotton bodycon by French Connection. It makes me feel a bit juvenile, but it also feels a little bit frou-frou, grandma-y, and the ultimate combination makes me giggle. It just felt like the perfect summer-to-fall transitional dress that I knew I had to wear with a pair of kick butt booties.
