"People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear, and ignorance. But be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul. Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action."
Rewind. Reset. Refresh.
Take a step back and see whatever it is you're looking at with a new set of eyes. This can apply to the smallest, most mundane aspects of your life all the way to the big, life-altering decisions you might make. I always like to see what I can make out of what I already have before starting over brand new. Take these pair of old jeans for example -- I've had these jeans since high school and I'll be honest...they sat in my closet for many years unworn. I thought to toss them many, many times because hey, it was a waste of space in my wardrobe and it could be easily replaced with a new pair of denim. But recently, I've gotten into chopping my old jeans with a pair of garment scissors because why not? I don't have much to lose if my cutting job goes awry, but I have a lot to gain if these old pair of blue jeans can rejoin the daily rotation simply through a quick refresh. So before you go out and drop $100 on a new pair of cropped flares or raw-edge jeans, go have a look in your pile of reject denim and see if you can make something old new again.
Besos,
RC
