Play Date

Hi everyone!

Anna from A Lily Love Affair // Jenny from Stuff I Love // Gaby from Soul of a Fashionista // Yumi from Petite in Style

Spring is definitely in the air, despite all that snow still surrounding me in these photos. I'm confident it is all melting as we speak. This week's collaboration was a fun, but challenging one since my closet isn't exactly overflowing with pastel choices. Thus, I decided to get a little creative by mixing a light wash (aka pastel blue, duh) moto jacket with a pair of dusty pink jeggings, both thanks to Aéropostale. I have to say, Aéropostale actually makes some fantastic pants, and the first pair I picked up from them which you all are probably pretty familiar (last seen here), are actually one of my favorite pairs of jeans. They're very comfortable and very flattering. Plus they hold up extremely well in the wash, and best of all - they're super duper affordable!

This look is definitely a little out of my element, but if you haven't noticed I really like to experiment with different styles. Personally, I classify myself as kind of a fashion chameleon cause I wear lots of different hats and feel right at home in lots of different skins - metaphorically speaking. I think this is a really easy-going look, perfect for a casual day out to run some errands or romp around on a play ground to relive our elementary school days.

Fun fact: Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers! Can you guess what my all time favorite flower is? I'll give you a hint: it's white and yellow, and I'd love to frolic through a whole field of them!
