"Standing alone, she wears sunlight. Like marigolds -- dancing in her hair, sewn through the fibers of her clothing, her being. Golden, like the hour. The hour of the last light."
Arguably one of my favorite times of day - when the entire world is perfectly aligned and it creates the magic that is golden hour. It is the last hour of daylight, when the sun seeps through the trees, showering the world in golden light that makes everything more beautiful.
Since today is Thanksgiving, I would like to take the time to share some thoughts and give thanks. I love Thanksgiving and the holidays, and the months of November-January always feel like a whirlwind. As much as I love this time of year, it's also crazy to think that it's the end of one chapter and the beginning of a brand new year. I feel like this year has completely blown by, and while so many things have remained constant, there have also been so many new beginnings. I am so thankful for what this last year has taught me and shown me. Above all, I'm thankful for the people who are constantly with me each day, both physically and in heart. For the people and the moments that have shown me the greatness and vastness of this life, the ones that have taught me the possibilities are endless and who are constant sources of love and support. And finally, to all of you who I know I thank every year...but thank you for being a part of this. It's become a huge part of who I am and it's helped drive my passions to start new things and open new doors. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope you all have a blessed day!
