Hey everyone! It's officially fall mode here on Refined Couture and I couldn't be more excited. Fall is my favorite season for countless reason - the refreshing crisp in the air, the nippy weather, pumpkin flavored beverages, apple picking season, beautiful foliage, and of course...layers!! Granted this outfit doesn't have much layering in it, but I went with some darker muted tones with some golden details to greet this perfect, early fall weather. More often than not, I usually choose one piece from my wardrobe that I really want to wear and center an outfit around it. Today's pick was my new Joie Jaclyn heels which I received from the rewardStyle party I talked about on Monday. Before I get into the outfit, I want to mention how comfortable these shoes are. For a sandal heel in this style, these shoes are ridiculously comfortable, due largely in part to the fact that the entire shoe is leather (really really soft leather, might I add) and the sole along with the front leather strap are both padded, which means nothing is cutting into your foot. So even though there's no platform, I wore these shoes for an entire day (10AM-5PM) with absolutely no pain! Shoe win :)
For the rest of the look, I went with a boyfriend style trouser with an olive green undertone. To keep it simple, I went with a double tiered black tank and dressed it up with a nicely cut black blazer. There was no need for any show-stealing jewelry because I wanted a very minimalistic look, so I layered two of my favorite dainty necklaces from Gorjana. I really couldn't pass up on the hanger pendant...perfect fashionista accessory and part of the DamselxGorjana line by Damsel in Dior! The rest of the story is pretty typical - layer on the bracelets and stack on the rings. I make sure to throw a pretty bangin' arm and hand party on the regular because in this case, the more really is merrier!! Thanks for reading :)
