Sedona, Arizona
"We live in a world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open."
it was a white christmas after all //
our original plans to drive to antelope canyon were derailed by a surprise snow storm. our backup plans to stay at a different hotel in sedona were cancelled because the hotel was situated on top of a hill, and the road was closed due to the snow.
hotel views //
we spontaneously ended up across the street at best western but the view did not disappoint
getting lost //
driving aimlessly to discover hidden paths, completely untouched
view through the trees //
i like to think the snow made this place infinitely more magical
desert snow //
the color contrast was any photographer's dream
off the beaten path //
this sweeping landscape was up a dirt hill off the main road
pause //
take a moment to stop, see, and appreciate
wander far, and wander wide //
don't discount the beauty you can find everywhere you go
reflections //
always look up, but sometimes don't forget to look back down
serenity //
cabin in the woods kind of charm
free like the rushing waters //
i wanted to be the photographer lying on that rock in the middle of the river. i can only imagine the shot he/she got...
juxtaposition //
cacti x snow x red rocks
against the odds //
snow covered desert flowers
golden hour //
it was very cool seeing how the color of the rocks changed with the change of the sun
top of the hill //
view from the chapel of the holy cross
point of view //
same view, different perspective
ever green //
loving the diversity of the desert plant life
until next time //
in a different season, for a new experience
