Hey everyone! Hope you had a good weekend! Today's post is a bit long overdue, but two weekends ago, I had the pleasure of attending rewardStyle's blogger party for New York Fashion Week on the rooftop lounge of The Empire Hotel aka major Gossip Girl/Chuck Bass & Blair Waldorf flashbacks...! It was an amazing experience and my first taste of what NYFW is like. If you follow me on Instagram, you would've seen a preview of my outfit already. I stuck with a very classic color palette - black & white, but played around with lots of different textures. I love this polka dotted tulle dress from Gap Kids, which I turned into a skirt by layering a knit cropped sweater tee over it. Ever since I saw Wendy featuring a tulle dress on Wendy's Lookbook, I was in love...the whole idea of it feels very romantic and fairytale-esque! With the two pieces, I used a satin ribbon to cinch the waist and added a pop of color (and a little more texture) with my deep burgundy calf-hair bag from Vince Camuto.

Lastly, I must mention how excited I was to have met Wendy from Wendy's Lookbook! She is one of my favorite bloggers, a huge inspiration, and so incredibly humble. Plus, we match! Haha,
anyways, I think that's enough fan-girling for one post. Check back Wednesday for a new look! Thanks for reading :)

XOXO,
E ♥
