Hey you :) Hope your week is fab!
I can't believe it's already April! Despite the fact that Mother Nature on the east coast has yet to realize that it is most definitely already spring, I'm gradually forcing myself to dress more for the season whether it means the color palettes I choose or simply being colder than I should be.
For me, anorak jackets, boyfriend jeans, and white chucks are the epitome of an easy-going, perfect-for-spring outfit. I picked up this jacket at the Madewell store on Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica when I was there a couple of weeks ago (check out a few glances of my vacation here!) It's surprisingly warm since it is a water resistant coat, which means it almost acts as a windbreaker. Plus, it also has a lining, which is more than I can say for the Downtown Field Jacket from J.Crew, which I own in the navy color. Personally, I think these two coats are pretty similar, except this one is more for the cool girl and the field jacket is more for the prepster. Take your pick, I choose to be both :)
A little bit of subtle ♡'in for my readers!
Whenever I throw on my chucks I feel like I'm ready to play, hence the playground setting. It totally makes me feel like a kid again, and I love it :) Chucks and boyfriend jeans are a dangerous combo because it really makes me feel like I could start swinging on the monkey bars and taking my turn on the slides. Dear seven year old girl, please stop hogging the swings. I think it's my turn.
