Sub-urban spaces.
I love cities, but at the core of it, I'm a suburban girl. After a busy day in the bustle of the city, I love retiring to the quiet of the suburbs. It's like coming up for a breath of fresh air. One of my favorite things about the suburbs is finding sub-urban spaces. You get the urban feel in the suburban space, the same kind of juxtaposition that I love in both personal style and decor. I feel like you can find a lot of this in the suburban spaces of Southern California, especially in the cities that border the outskirts of Los Angeles. The mix of clean walls, perfect palms, right in the midst of quiet suburban neighborhoods.
