Beauty Diaries Vol. III - Autumn Eyes

Step 1: Apply an eyeshadow primer all over lids - I'm using Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Step 2: Apply a skin-toned matte shadow all over lids
(Lancome Color Design in Positive matte)

Urban Decay Naked Palette - Sin

Step 3: Take an eyeshadow brush (mine is Sonia Kashuk) and apply a champagne pink shadow over the entire lid.

Urban Decay Naked Palette (Half Baked)

Step 4: Using the same brush, apply a gold shadow over the outer half of your lid

MAC "Call Me Bubbles" Limited Edition Quad (Brash)

Step 5: Using the same brush or a dome shaped pencil brush, take a copper colored shadow and apply it in a wide "V" shape on the outer half of your lid

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Eye Shadow (Pomegranate Punk)

Step 6: Using the same brush from step 5, deepen the "V" shape you created by applying a burgundy colored shadow  over the copper shadow in a slightly smaller/narrower "V" shape.

Urban Decay Naked Palette (Toasted)

Inglot (#337)

Step 7: Set the burgundy shadow (if yours wasn't a cream shadow, you can skip this) with a pressed shadow in a similar shade. Then take a neutral and matte light brown and blend out any harsh lines with a dense blending brush

MAC "Call Me Bubbles" Limited Edition Quad (Call Me Bubbles)

Step 8: Use a highlighting shadow to highlight your brow bone and the inner corner of your eyes

Inglot (#360)

Urban Decay Naked Palette (Toasted)

Milani (Brow Kit)

Ulta Automatic Eye Liner (Chocolate)

Integrate Liquid Eyeliner (Brown)

Step 9: Using the darker shadows from this look, line your bottom lash line. Using a pencil liner, tight  line your water line and your bottom lash line. With a liquid liner in a dark brown color, line your eyes as close to the lashes as possible and slightly wing it out.

Step 10: Fill in any sparseness in your brows. If you have dark hair like me, do not use a color the same shade as your hair - go for something lighter.

Step 11: Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara
(Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On & Shu Uemura Curler)

Tada!! :)

A better look at all the products I used. I didn't mention it above, but all my shadow brushes are Sonia Kashuk, and the brush I used to fill in my brows is the brush that came with the Naked palette.

I'm super excited that it's finally fall, and one of my favorite things about fall is all the colors that start appearing when the leaves begin to change. I tried to pull those colors and incorporate them into this look while still keeping it natural enough for everyday wear, especially since I'm not personally a dramatic eyes kinda girl.
I hope my directions were easy enough to follow, and hopefully the pictures gave you a better idea of what it should look like as you progress from step to step! I talked about most of the shadows used in this look in my last beauty diaries post: Beauty Diaries Vol. II - Go-To Eyeshadows, so check it out if you're interested! Thanks for reading, and swing by throughout the weekend to check for new posts!! :)

XOXO,
E ♥
