Bordeaux Maxi

Hey everyone! So sorry for disappearing for such a long time - life got pretty busy and then I was away for a bit during the holiday and didn't have access to a computer (namely because I didn't bring it along). Today's look has easily become one of my favorite outfits to just throw on when it's too hot to wear pants but I'm too lazy to wear a shorter dress for personal comfort throughout the day. I love a good pleated maxi because it's a very versatile piece to dress up or down depending on your mood, and it also flows beautifully as you move. I chose a very casual top but added a skinny printed belt in a calf hair cheetah print (one of my favorite belts!) to keep it all a little bit more interesting. I hope you all enjoyed this look, and thanks so much for reading!!

XOXO,
E ♥

  1. Love the maxi skirt especially the color. I have one in mustard yellow, and I love how the skirt moves. I have to ask thigh, how tall are you? I've always had trouble finding one that isn't too long.

  2. Thanks! I saw your mustard one on your Instagram and thought to myself, I have the same thing but in a wine red color! Your mustard one is also a beautiful color too! I'm actually 5'5 so maxi's aren't too bad on me when it comes to length, except when going up or down stairs...then I feel like I'm going to trip and die, haha. Not sure exactly how tall you are, but have you ever tried a midi skirt as a maxi? I've seen it hit perfectly at the ankles for some girls if you're looking for a long skirt that you can wear with flat shoes!

  3. Thanks for the tip! I'm actually between 4'10" -4'11" so maxis are a little harder to find. I'll definitely try out the midi as maxi tip though the next time I see one. For some reason, I gravitate away from midis, I think they make me look shorter lol

  6. Oh wow, you really are petite!! I've seen some midis that lean towards the longer side of the midi spectrum, so I definitely think they'll workout for you as a maxi!
