It's been a gloomy week in New York City, and I'm getting through it by thinking back to the glorious Sunday I spent traipsing around a pumpkin patch in South Jersey, wheeling through the rows of apple trees in our pumpkin-filled wheelbarrow, and leaving empty-handed but full of laughter and great memories of time well-spent with wonderful company. I'm a Jersey girl born and raised, and I'd have it no other way. I live for the change of seasons, and as the beauty of each one passes I often catch myself thinking how short-lived it is but I always know there's next year to look forward to. Here's to living in the now and taking in the beauty that comes with it!
